Your portfolio section can now build itself

If your site shows the work you have done — clients, projects, partners — you have probably maintained that section by hand. Somebody publishes a project, and then somebody else remembers to add a screenshot to the gallery, write a caption, and re-order the grid. The gallery drifts out of date roughly one week after launch.

What changed

There is now a showcase block you can drop onto any page. Point it at the work you want to show and it assembles the section itself: the screenshots, the tags, the layout. Publishing a project is the only step. The page keeps up on its own.

The useful part is not the grid. It is that adding a project went from three steps to one, so the section stays honest about what you have actually shipped.

What it does not do

It will not write your copy. It reproduces structure and pulls in what is already attached to the work; the words describing each project are still yours. We tried the other version and it produced pages that looked right and said nothing.

It also will not invent a screenshot. If a project has no image, the block leaves the slot empty rather than filling it with something decorative — an empty slot is a to-do, a fake one is a lie.

Where to find it

It ships with the current theme, so if your site is up to date it is already in your block inserter under the ArneIron group. No setup, nothing to install.
